	I received your Letters of the 24th & 28th instant & inclosed return you your Receipt for £291 it not answering any purpose as a Receipt and as Sir William Blackett has sent you the Receipt that you gave him for the £800 I must desire that you will send me a proper Receipt for £291 as you have usually done to Mr Richmond & make it received (by John E Blackett) not by Mr Henry Richmond, as you was before desired. The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
