	Inclosed you have two Bills drawn by Messrs Bell Cookson & Co on Messrs Castell & Co the one for Two hundred and seventy five pounds to make your quarterly and other payments on Accot of Sir Walter Blackett to 31st Decr next.  The other Bill for Two Hundred and Fifty pounds is to enable you to pay Mrs Gordon 21/2 Years intert of Sir Walter Blackett’s Bond for £2500 due the 20th instant agreeable to Mr Richmond’s Letters to you - I desire you will place the said Bills to Accot advising me of the Receipt                    I am etc       J.E.B.
