         Your letter of the 28th Ulto. came duly to hand     Inclosed you will receive an Account of the Quarterly Payments to be made on Sir John Trevelyans Acco[un]t.   A Copy of the Receipt to be sent me for the Remittances that I make you & likewise Bell Cookson & Cos bill on Castell & Co.  dated 15 instant at 20 Days for Two Hundred & Fifty Pounds on Acco[un]t of those Payments from 30th Sept. to 31st Decem[be]r next.   You will please to acknowledge the Receipt of this to etc  J E B.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
