	Inclosed you will receive a Bill drawn by Messrs Bell Cookson & Co on Castell & Co dated 1st instant at one month for One Thousand Pounds on account of Sir Thos Blackett the Receipt of which you will please to acknowledge.  There has not been any Demand for Lead since I wrote last to Sir Thomas Blackett nor is there yet any Alteration in the Prices.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
