Mr. Westgarth Coalcleugh Dukesf'd Aug't 1st 1768 Sir When at the Mill this morning Abra[ham] Watson & Cuth[bert] Stobbs brought in Ore f[ro]m Your place w[hi]ch I saw weighed & they wanted 7lb [scratched out: ‘& 9lb in a Poke’], but none less than 7 lb short of Weight. I therefor beg you'll order Mr. Dickinson to be more carefull for the time to come that the Carriers takes Weight, & that he makes the above Carriers when they take up or <ea…> bring as much over Weight as to make up what they this day wanted. Watson had a Horse & Stobbs 4 so they should bring 13 stone at least to make up the want. & am Sr Yrs &c &c I H Jr
