Mr. Richmond desires that at the end of each year there be Acco[un]ts sent here of the Total deliv[er]y f[ro]m each Grove to the several Milns, and as we are now making up the Acco[un]ts for last Year must beg you'll send me such Acco[un]ts (at first opportunity) that if there be any mistakes in the Acco[un]ts they may be rectifyed before they are sent to Newcastle. I wish you would send me at the same time an Acco[un]t of the quantity of Ore (as near as you can guess) that will be to come in your Groves next Sum[m]er & am

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
