I expected long ear this to have had an acco[un]t how you liked the Bellows, & whether we were to get a pair made for this Refinery, or you would send back those you got f[ro]m her, as you must have had a sufficient trial of them before this time, and f[ro]m your promise I imagine you have wrote & the Lre [Letter] miscarried, therefor beg you'll upon the

rec[eip]t of this let me know your intentions. & am

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
