Sir

Upon recollection I find that the 5th Aug't the Day we fixed for to pay the Langtyhead Carriers upon is Hexham Fair day w[hi]ch will make it inconvenient for several of them to attend on that day, so shall make it on Friday the 4th Aug't therefor desire you'll acquaint them all w[i]th this change of the day, for I do suppose they did not no more then me imagine when Saturday the 5th was fixed that it would be the Fair day at Hexham.

Send me tomorrow w[i]th out fail an Acco[un]t of the quantity each Carrier has carried of Langty head Ore to that day, for I'm to go to N.Castle for the Money on Tuesday & Mr. Richmond must have such an acc[oun]t be fore he'll advance it.
