Its very odd you will never do anything one desires w[i]thout being so much intreated to it. What is the reason you will not send me an Acco[un]t of your Stock & Deliv[er]y for last years as I desired? If you do not give me a satisfactory answ[e]r on or before the 17th inst, take the consequence for I will not be any longer trifled w[i]th. 

I hear you have been at Blaydon, pray does Mr. Reynaldson's Acco[un]t & your agree.  I am yrs I H Jr

probably intended for Robert Harrison, son of John (formally the agent) at Rookhope, as Robert appears to have been responsible for the accounts

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
