As we are now closing the last years Acco[un]ts must beg you'll send me an Acco[un]t of the Total deliv[er]y from each of your Groves to the Several Mills last year, according to Mr. Richmonds orders w[hi]ch I think I acquainted you w[i]th last I sent.

When you give me the above Acco[un]t pray tell me what you guess the quantity of Ore to come f[ro]m your Groves next Sum[m]er will be.

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale.
