Sir

      We sent Mr Corbett the Invoice of the last Loading of Coales on board of the Stephen & jane of Scarbrough, Mr John Hebb Marster amounting to £46.3.7 ½ which we hope you have received in this; We have this day taken the liberty to draw upon you at 14 days date for that Sum payable to Mr James Wood on Accot. Of the Rents of the Derwentwater Estates. I am for Mr Walton & myself

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
