To Mr John Everest At Greenwich Near London	Ravensworth Castle  Septem. 21st  1759



By the London Carrier this day we have sent directed to Richd. Horne Esqr.  Three Hundred Printed Land Leases , 280 with a Proviso for dividing Common & Eighty without.  We will very soon send p’ticulars for filling them up, & desire they may be stamped as soon as possible.  We are etc  For Yrs etc

      We rec’d yours by this days Post and are much obliged to you for your List of the Trustees wch. comes in very proper time, as we have just fixed the Courts , & will take care the several Stewards have notice.	Mr Boag & I are busy preparing p[arti]clers for filling up the lLnd Leases wch you shall have very soon

      Below you have the names of the Comm[ission]ers who Executed our late Appointment.   I am for Mr Boag & Self

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
