To Mr W[illia]m Alvey Darwin Gray’s Inn

London                                                                                     Newcastle 3rd March 1766

Sir       Inclosed herewith you receive my two bills on Plumbe & Browne as above, the bill for two hundred & ninety five pounds is on acco[un]t of the quar[te]rly payments made and to be made by you in London for S[i]r W[alte]r Blackett between the 31 Decem[be]r last & the 31st of this month, which I desire you will place to his Acco[un]t and send me your receipt for as usual. The other bill for two hundred and Eighty pounds is to enable you to pay Glover & Sambroke’s 

Half yearly int[e]r[es]t of their motgage on Kenton due 27th instant, till when I desire you will place this bill to my Acco[un]t and advise me of your receipt of it. I am etc           HR

Twenty five days after date pay Mr William Alvey Darwin or order the sum of Two hundred and ninety five pounds value in account & place the same to acco[un]t as by advice from
