Gentn    Inclosed herewith I send two parts of your Account with Sir John Trevelyan;  one of which is signed by Mr Blackett     the other if you find right please to sign & return     Mr Blackett will draw upon you for the Balance in the Course of three Weeks or a Month and as that will Close Sir John Trevelyans account of Bullion you will please to open a new Account for Sir Thos. Blackett Bar[one]t on your Receipt of the next piece of Silver which will be sent you soon.          I am etc  CP

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
