Know All men by these presents That we John Blackett of Newby in the County of York Esquire and Edward Blackett of the same place Gentlemen are held and firmly bound to Elleanor Bowes of the Citty of York Spinster in the sum of Four hundred pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid to the said Elleanor Bowes or her Certain Attorney Executor Adm[inistrato]rs  or Assigns For which payment well and faithfully to be made We bind Ourselves and Each of us by himselff to the whole Our severall Heirs Executors Adm.rs and Every of them firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and Dated the Eighteenth day of September in the Twenty First Year of the Reign of Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland Knight Defender of the Faith And so forth and in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundrend and Forty Seven



The Condition of the above obligation is Such that if the above bound John Blackett and Edward Blackett or either of them their or either of their Heirs Executors or Adm.rs or any of them Shall and do well and truly pay or Cause to be paid to the above named Elleanor Bowes the Sum of Two Hundred pounds in lawful Money of Great Britain Interest for the Same after the rate of Four pounds and ten Shilling by the hundred by the year att or upon the Eighteenth day of March now next ensuing the date of these presents with our fraud or further delay then this obligation to be void or Else to be and remain in full force and virtue.
