      I am in receipt of your lre (letter) of the 24th inst enclosing one from Mr Key with seven Bills value £2151.2s.3d of which £1613..0s.6d we carry to the credit of the London Works and £538.1s.9d to the credit of the Exorship acc[oun]t debiting the same with £267.13s.6d paid for Ground rents particulars of which we will thank you to furnish & also credit the London Works with £598.6s.10d paid to you by Mr Key crediting you with that amount Paid to Mr Beaumonts credit at Messrs Glyns & Co.

      I also note your receipt of £3000 from Glyn & Co and payment of the same to Mr Lee & Mr Clifford which sum I paid through Messrs Batson & Co out of Mr Beaumonts Landed receipts. I have also received Mr B[eaumont]s Bond to Mr Bell for £2000 duly cancelled – which sum was paid to Mr Bells credit at Glyns & Co out of the Lead acc[oun]t & observe your payment of £60.5s.0d Interest on the same to the 26th Inst & £83.2s.6d paid to Glyn & Co on Mr B[eaumon]ts acc[oun]t.

      I have this day forwarded to your address as usual, a piece of fine Silver per Jackson & Co Waggon, weighing 1147 1/2 ozs. And shall forward another piece on Monday of which you shall have due advice.

      The Balance against the London Works now stands at £1889.11s.11d exclusive of charges for Freight, Lighterage & Keelage on Messrs Grace & Freemans Lead 3000 Pieces. We send by the Red Plover Coach this evening a Box containing the Balance Book & etc etc
