Sir, your Lre of the 10th came to my hand which I communicated to the trustees who apprehending thereby that you take Amiss there offer of the 5 ½ yd Supr Fine cloth direct me to acquaint you that the same was given to severall of the Nearest Relations at Old Sr Wms funeral & that they by  the Direction of the late Sr Wm were to pursue the same steps that were taken at his father’s funeral as near as possible. I am yrs &c JR

The Dukesfield Smelters and Carriers Project aimed to celebrate and discover the heritage of the Dukesfield Arches & lead carriers' routes between Blaydon and the lead mines of Allendale and Weardale. A two year community project, it was led by the Friends of the North Pennines in partnership with Hexhamshire and Slaley Parish Councils and the active support of Allendale Estates.
