Dear Madam

      I wrote to you fully yesterday, to which I hope to receive an answer on the 25th or 26th Inst as it will require some Time to prepare the Notes; the Frequency of my Letters to you lately, will I fear make you dread the Sight of one, as much as you may abhor the Name of Davison & Co; I have made out an account of the several Receipts & Payments as nigh as I can calculate at present, which you shall have by the next Post, but it will not be in my Power to send you the Bills till the End of next Week; they will be drawn chiefly on Walkers Maltby & Co; the Bills to be drawn on Sir R[ichar]d Glynn & Co. will not exceed £20,000 in the whole,& they will have Bills in their Hands due in July, August & September amounting to upwards of that Sum.

      The Bank of Sir W[ilia]m Loraine & Co are willing to advance the Sum of £5,000 for three Months, they having a Bill or Bills in their Hands due in July to that amount.

I am quite of the same Opinion with Sir R[ichar]d Glyn that it will not be advisable for you to open an Account with any other Bank in London, than theirs but with one at this Place, I hope that we may obtain £500 in Dollars & small Silver; the Proposals from the Bank of Loraine & Co. I shall have Tomorrow, which I shall enclose you. I yesterday made application to the Committee for the Bank of Surtees Burdon & Co for some aid on account of the Lead Pay, but I was told, that it was not in their Power at present. Pray have you accepted of the handsome Offer of Mr Hall.

The Bill which I shall draw tomorrow on Colonel Beaumont to the Order of Messrs Walton & Forster at three Months Date will be for £1,000 which he will please, when presented to accept, payable at the Bank of Sir R[ichar]d Glyn & Co
